Colorado, Utah Show How Mail-In Voting Can Work
Every so often I like to tempt fate by writing an article which could easily (and monumentally) be proven wrong within mere hours. Today is one of those days, because I feel pretty confident in predicting that Colorado and Utah will essentially show the rest of the country how a mail-in election should be done. I seriously doubt we'll see scenes of frustrated voters not being able to cast their ballots in a timely way, because with universal mail-in voting, that's not really a problem. No long lines, no machines that don't work right, no poll workers who don't know how to operate the machines, no voter-suppression efforts (both overt and covert) at all. And while Colorado is at the end of a long journey from being a purple state to a very blue one, Utah is still about as staunchly Republican as it gets -- proving that mail-in voting is not a partisan issue at all. Or it shouldn't be, at the very least.
Of course, Utah and Colorado had the good sense to be prepared for an election like 2020, even though they likely never even considered how it would benefit them with the country locked in a viral pandemic. It's doubtful the subject even came up when the two states decided to go the way of universal mail-in ballots. But it sure seems downright serendipitous now, in hindsight.
Colorado and Utah weren't the first states to go this route, it's worth mentioning. Oregon and Washington state were pioneers in this movement, and proved that it was not only possible but actually beneficial to hold elections this way. Voter participation goes way up when the state plans ahead and has a good mail-in voting system in place. While Donald Trump and plenty of his followers seem to think that this is all some sort of evil Democratic plot, the reality is that neither party benefits -- the voters are the biggest beneficiaries. More people voting because it is far easier to do so is a good thing for small-d democracy, not big-D Democrats. Otherwise, why would Utah have ever gotten on board?
There are multiple benefits from mail-in voting, as well as a few drawbacks. The biggest benefit is the ease of voting, of course. Registered voters get their ballot in the mail early, they fill it out whenever it is convenient for them, and then they either mail it in or physically drop it off at a collection site on Election Day. In Colorado, one county posted some amusing videos of a drive-up dropoff point, with people voting from horseback, rollerblades, skateboards, and even (although there is not a drop of water in sight) a large raft. Casting your ballot this way is not just quick and easy, in other words, it can also be fun.
The second big benefit is everyone is voting using paper ballots. No "paperless voting machines" at all is a very good thing. Recounts and audits are possible, in other words. This raises everyone's faith in the election process, and is therefore a big (and nonpartisan) benefit.
The biggest drawback to the mail-in system is speed. Election night results may become a thing of the past, and people will just have to get used to waiting days (or even weeks) for the election results. Just today, races were called in Kentucky from their primary last week, for instance. This may be an incredible shock to the public nationwide, if we don't get the presidential election results on Election Day, but people will have to adapt.
There's a built in conundrum with counting mail-in ballots. They take longer to process, since each ballot must be verified and then fed into a counting machine, all by hand. But the biggest problem is that in most states no counting of ballots is allowed before Election Day. This is understandable, because it would be very hard to count ballots in the days preceding an election without the data being leaked to the press. And knowing your candidate is already losing big -- or even winning big -- might just affect how many people bother to vote. So banning any tabulation before Election Day itself is reasonable. Also, in some states ballots can be postmarked on Election Day and still count, which means they won't even arrive until after Election Day. This further extends the vote-counting period.
Still, even though it might require patience on the part of the voting public, mail-in balloting is far superior to in-person balloting. Just ask people who live in states where it is universal -- they'll tell you (Democrats and Republicans alike). People love it, which is why so many more of them vote. You don't have to take time off work, you don't have to go to a polling place (that may be overly inconvenient to get to), and you don't have to stand in line at all. You can vote at midnight or in your pajamas, or whatever. You can then drop it in the mail with ease, or you can retain the tradition of going down in person and handing your ballot in yourself. Even from the back of a horse (in some places).
States like Utah and Colorado planned ahead, which is why their primaries will probably go very smoothly. They're used to universal mail-in voting, so there will be no learning curve this time around. They're used to handling the ballots that come in, so no change in procedure was even necessary. That is simply not true for many other states. Some are so restrictive that they only get a tiny fraction of their total vote by mail each election. Some are less restrictive, and are used to at least a goodly fraction of the total votes being cast by mail. These states face enormous challenges in the 2020 election, because they've got to either invent a new system or shift gears in a major way in order to handle the expected flood of mail-in voting this November. Some will get it right, but others will have problems.
But even with a learning curve, tens of millions of American voters are going to experience mail-in voting for the first time this year. And it's a pretty safe bet that a majority of them are going to like the new system -- so much so that they demand their state governments make it easier and smoother the next time around. Resistance to mail-in voting is going to be a lot harder after this election cycle, that's my rather optimistic guess at any rate.

I have loved Washington’s mail in ballot system...it makes voting so much easier. We are sent the ballots about two weeks before Election Day and can send them in at any time as long as it gets post marked before midnight on Election Day. You can mail them in, or you can drop them into drive up ballot boxes located throughout the county.
Yes, the count may take a few extra days, but the increase in voter turn out and the ease of the process are well worth the wait!

Some University of Wisconsin students are pushing for a statue of Abraham Lincoln to be removed from the Madison campus over his treatment of indigenous groups and black people.
The Black Student Union and the Student Inclusion Coalition, both student organizations, called for the statue's removal in early June, despite Lincoln ending slavery in the United States.
The Black Student Union argues Lincoln's legacy also includes several actions that harmed people of color. He ordered the largest mass execution in U.S. history -- 38 Dakota men by hanging -- and signed the Homestead Act, which gave settlers land forcibly taken from Native Americans, the Wisconsin State Journal reported.
Some students at the University of Wisconsin-Madison are calling for a statue of Abraham Lincoln on campus to be removed.
“For him to be at the top of Bascom [Hill] as a powerful placement on our campus, it’s a single-handed symbol of white supremacy,” Black Student Union president Nalah McWhorter told the outlet.
Opponents, including UW-Madison Chancellor Rebecca Blank, have voiced concerns about how far the targeting of historical figures can go. In a statement to the newspaper, she acknowledged Lincoln's complex legacy.
“However, when the totality of his tenure is considered, Lincoln is widely acknowledged as one of our greatest presidents, having issued the Emancipation Proclamation, persuaded Congress to adopt the 13th Amendment ending slavery and preserved the Union during the Civil War ... I believe that Abraham Lincoln’s legacy should not be erased but examined, that it should be both celebrated and critiqued," Blank said.

Bill de Blasio caves to absurd ‘defund the police’ movement: Goodwin
Reader Jay Roberts raises the burning question of the day, one that has sparked a lively debate with one of his friends.
He writes, “You say Mayor de?Blasio is a ‘putz’ but my friend says he’s a ‘schmuck.’ I suggest we send the mayor a letter asking for his opinion. A putz wouldn’t answer it, but a schmuck would.”
To which I say: Stop! You’re both right!
For those who don’t speak New York, think of a putz as a hapless fool, someone incapable of doing the right thing. A schmuck, on the other hand, is a jerk, someone who intentionally does the wrong thing.
Unfortunately for New Yorkers, de Blasio takes turns at being both. He always screws up, the only difference being whether it’s intentional or not. Either way, Gotham gets screwed.
The latest evidence comes with his agreement to cut police spending by about 17 percent, including the cancellation of a new class of rookies. With retirements soaring, that guarantees fewer cops on the street just as murder and mayhem are turning much of the city into the Wild West.
Murders are up 25 percent this year and the police counted 63 shootings last week, compared with 26 for the same week last year.
The violent tide suggests the bad guys have no fear of being arrested. Why should they? And if they are, the new bail law requires judges to release most of them immediately anyway.
Meanwhile, the domino effect will add to the city’s misery. The crime spurt, including the tragic murder of 17-year-old Brandon Hendricks, while the police force is facing reductions means the NYPD will have little or no resources for less serious but still important quality-of-life issues.

The illegal fireworks exploding all over the city with impunity are but a loud foreshadowing of the disorder to come. Consider, too, that it took the city more than a month to move a homeless man, often naked, out of the dry fountain at Washington Square Park.
For de Blasio, the police budget episode has been Exhibit A of how he is both hapless and unscrupulous.
At first, he tried to dance around the far-left pressure to defund cops but after he was booed and heckled off the stage at a June 4 memorial for George Floyd in Brooklyn, he instantly embraced the national madness.
Within days, de Blasio was throwing the mob a bone, saying that while he didn’t agree with calls for $1 billion in cuts to the NYPD’s nearly $6 billion in spending, he would propose “something substantial.”
Given the backdrop of protests, riots and looting, even that was reckless pandering. These “mostly peaceful protests,” as much of the media still insist on calling them, destroyed hundreds of businesses and scared sensible people out of their wits — and sent many of them to the exits.
A good, courageous mayor would have stood up to the anti-cop crowds and reminded them that the NYPD had saved thousands of black lives by taking illegal handguns off the street, and that a declining prison rate was another consequence. It was the police, not the protesters and rioters, who had made New York the safest big city in America.
Such a mayor also would have reminded all New Yorkers that a continuing exodus of taxpayers will leave the city with even less money to spend on anything and everything.
But expecting de Blasio to be a good, courageous mayor is a fool’s errand. He caved in to the demands and instead of nibbling at police spending, agreed to slash it.
Anti-police radicals wanted $1 billion, and that’s what he gave them, plus $500 million more from the separate capital budget, according to reports of Tuesday’s agreement with the City Council. The mayor even used his favorite word — redistribution — to describe how he would shift money from police to social services and other spending.
The council slashers were led by Corey Johnson, the speaker, who thinks he’s going to be the next mayor, just as every City Council speaker before him did. None has ever made it.
New York City is going to become a bigger cesspool of hate and intolerance even more so than it is..

This is crazy talk — and the stuff of disaster.
For one thing, the deal and the criticism reveal that the 2021 race to succeed the term-limited de Blasio will turn the brave men and women of the NYPD into a piñata. Beating up on cops will be the fastest way to grab a headline and energize the mob.
For another, the deal confirms that we are witnessing a dangerous moment in America. Just as New York led the nation in tackling crime 25 years ago, the folly of the nation’s biggest city cutting police spending during a crime wave will increase demands on any holdout cities to do at least as much.
While most will not follow the extreme Minneapolis model and try to shutter the police department and replace it, it is almost certain that the anti-blue wave sweeping much of America will simultaneously handcuff cops and thin their ranks.
That leads to the second guarantee, which is that these actions will usher in a new era of high crime and violence. And Bill de Blasio is helping to make it happen.

The Present Moment Has Set Blacks Back a Half-Century
According to the make-believe world of the left, we are experiencing a great moment in American racial history. For the first time, the story goes, more whites than ever are coming to realize how racist America is, how racist cops are and how systemically racist everything in America is. Only now do many Americans understand just how racist Uncle Ben, Aunt Jemima, Ulysses Grant, George Washington, Abraham Lincoln, "whitening" agents, meritocracy, Western culture, Christianity, jailing Blacks and the NFL are. The bestselling book in America is about alleged "white fragility" -- the term for any rational response to the irrational charge that all whites are racist.
All this is supposed to be good for America's Blacks.
But none of it is. In fact, it is all destructive.
Take the movement to defund police departments and the incessant charges of "police brutality" and "racist police." Only those who don't care about Blacks other than using them to advance their power -- Democrats and the rest of the left, both Black and white -- argue this war against the police is good for Blacks. Already the increase in the number of Blacks murdered, not to mention injured, is reaching levels unseen in decades. And there is every reason to assume, as police pull back from high-crime areas, it will get worse.
Take the left-wing mantra that all whites are racist. If I wanted to obstruct Black progress, and especially damage Black children, I couldn't come up with a more effective idea. To believe from early childhood that you walk through life held in contempt by all of your fellow citizens who are white is to walk through life with much more than a chip on your shoulder. It is more like a heavy boulder.

It means that you will walk through life with two paralyzing burdens: anger and victimhood. Either one is enough to ruin your life. Combined they're devastating. It gives one an idea of how cynical the left is that it would want to cultivate both of these life-ruining emotions in as many Blacks as possible.
Anger and victimhood not only ruin the individual's life but also destroy one's relationships with others. Everyone who has an angry individual in their family knows not only how unhappy that person is but also how much havoc they wreak on the rest of the family. The same holds true for the relative who sees him or herself as a perpetual victim. Such people are both miserable and miserable to be around. And since victimhood is a major cause of evil -- people who see themselves as victims usually think they are not nearly as bound by moral rules as others are -- they are more likely to hurt others.
The "protesters" who destroy and loot think their victim status allows them to destroy and loot. The man identified as the president of the greater New York Black Lives Matter, Hawk Newsome, recently told Fox News: "If this country doesn't give us what we want, then we will burn down this system and replace it. All right? And I could be speaking ... figuratively. I could be speaking literally. It's a matter of interpretation."
In a report yesterday on a police shooting of a robber who resisted arrest and reached for an object in his waistband, the San Diego Union-Tribune quoted a protest organizer: "If this young man was robbing, that means his state and his government failed to provide him with the resources he needs." When you feel you are a victim, you are allowed to rob.
Take the constant, often absurd, charges of racism at the most benign comments. If you say, for example, that you see nothing wrong with the picture of Uncle Ben on a box of rice, you will be accused of racism. As a result, most whites understand they can no longer speak truthfully or from the heart in the presence of a Black American. It is hard to imagine a worse recipe for genuine relationships between the races. Whereas the great majority of whites, and even most Blacks, thought white-Black relations were good and improving when Barack Obama assumed office, a minority of both groups think so today.
Take the assault on merit-based advancement in the name of racial equality. Will this help or hinder Blacks? It will obviously help some Blacks in the short run. But over the long term, telling any group they needn't meet a universal standard of excellence can only harm that group -- not to mention harm the way their success will be viewed by others. Moreover, it is difficult to imagine a more condescending view of a group than to argue that standards must be lowered for them to succeed.
This is what The Democrat/AntiFa/BlackLiesMatter Party has wrought on black Americans..

On behalf of environmentalists everywhere, I would like to formally apologize for the climate scare we created over the last 30 years. Climate change is happening. It’s just not the end of the world. It’s not even our most serious environmental problem.
I may seem like a strange person to be saying all of this. I have been a climate activist for 20 years and an environmentalist for 30.
But as an energy expert asked by Congress to provide objective expert testimony, and invited by the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) to serve as Expert Reviewer of its next Assessment Report, I feel an obligation to apologize for how badly we environmentalists have misled the public.
Here are some facts few people know:
Humans are not causing a “sixth mass extinction”
The Amazon is not “the lungs of the world”
Climate change is not making natural disasters worse
Fires have declined 25% around the world since 2003
The amount of land we use for meat — humankind’s biggest use of land — has declined by an area nearly as large as Alaska
The build-up of wood fuel and more houses near forests, not climate change, explain why there are more, and more dangerous, fires in Australia and California
Carbon emissions are declining in most rich nations and have been declining in Britain, Germany, and France since the mid-1970s
Netherlands became rich not poor while adapting to life below sea level
We produce 25% more food than we need and food surpluses will continue to rise as the world gets hotter
Habitat loss and the direct killing of wild animals are bigger threats to species than climate change
Wood fuel is far worse for people and wildlife than fossil fuels
Preventing future pandemics requires more not less “industrial” agriculture

I know that the above facts will sound like “climate denialism” to many people. But that just shows the power of climate alarmism.
In reality, the above facts come from the best-available scientific studies, including those conducted by or accepted by the IPCC, the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO), the International Union for the Conservation of Nature (IUCN) and other leading scientific bodies.
Some people will, when they read this imagine that I’m some right-wing anti-environmentalist. I’m not. At 17, I lived in Nicaragua to show solidarity with the Sandinista socialist revolution. At 23 I raised money for Guatemalan women’s cooperatives. In my early 20s I lived in the semi-Amazon doing research with small farmers fighting land invasions. At 26 I helped expose poor conditions at Nike factories in Asia.
I became an environmentalist at 16 when I threw a fundraiser for Rainforest Action Network. At 27 I helped save the last unprotected ancient redwoods in California. In my 30s I advocated renewables and successfully helped persuade the Obama administration to invest $90 billion into them. Over the last few years I helped save enough nuclear plants from being replaced by fossil fuels to prevent a sharp increase in emissions
But until last year, I mostly avoided speaking out against the climate scare. Partly that’s because I was embarrassed. After all, I am as guilty of alarmism as any other environmentalist. For years, I referred to climate change as an “existential” threat to human civilization, and called it a “crisis.”
But mostly I was scared. I remained quiet about the climate disinformation campaign because I was afraid of losing friends and funding. The few times I summoned the courage to defend climate science from those who misrepresent it I suffered harsh consequences. And so I mostly stood by and did next to nothing as my fellow environmentalists terrified the public.
I even stood by as people in the White House and many in the news media tried to destroy the reputation and career of an outstanding scientist, good man, and friend of mine, Roger Pielke, Jr., a lifelong progressive Democrat and environmentalist who testified in favor of carbon regulations. Why did they do that? Because his research proves natural disasters aren’t getting worse.
But then, last year, things spiraled out of control.
Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez said “The world is going to end in twelve years if we don’t address climate change.” Britain’s most high-profile environmental group claimed “Climate Change Kills Children.”
The world’s most influential green journalist, Bill McKibben, called climate change the “greatest challenge humans have ever faced” and said it would “wipe out civilizations.”
Mainstream journalists reported, repeatedly, that the Amazon was “the lungs of the world,” and that deforestation was like a nuclear bomb going off.
As a result, half of the people surveyed around the world last year said they thought climate change would make humanity extinct. And in January, one out of five British children told pollsters they were having nightmares about climate change.
Whether or not you have children you must see how wrong this is. I admit I may be sensitive because I have a teenage daughter. After we talked about the science she was reassured. But her friends are deeply misinformed and thus, understandably, frightened.
That's all that the Democrat/AntiFa/BlackLiesMatter Party is good for..

Nations are reverting openly to self-interest and away from Malthusianism and neoliberalism, which is good for nuclear and bad for renewables.
The evidence is overwhelming that our high-energy civilization is better for people and nature than the low-energy civilization that climate alarmists would return us to.
The invitations from IPCC and Congress are signs of a growing openness to new thinking about climate change and the environment. Another one has been to the response to my book from climate scientists, conservationists, and environmental scholars. 1 in 5 Ballots Rejected as Fraud Is Charged in N.J. Mail-In Election
Following accusations of widespread fraud, voter intimidation, and ballot theft in the May 12 municipal elections in Paterson, N.J., state Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal (pictured) announced Thursday he is charging four men with voter fraud – including the vice president of the City Council and a candidate for that body.
With races still undecided, control of the council hangs in the balance. Paterson is New Jersey’s third largest city and the election will decide the fate of a municipal budget in excess of $300 million, in addition to hundreds of millions more in education spending and state aid.
In the City Council election, 16,747 vote-by-mail ballots were received, but only 13,557 votes were counted. More than 3,190 votes, 19% of the total ballots cast, were disqualified by the board of elections. Due to the pandemic, Paterson’s election was done through vote-by-mail. Community organizations, such as the city’s NAACP chapter, are calling for the entire election to be invalidated.
Mail-in ballots have long been acknowledged by voting experts to be more susceptible to fraud and irregularities than in-person voting. This has raised concerns from President Trump and other Republicans about the integrity of national elections in November, which are expected to include a dramatic increase in mail-in ballots. If Paterson is any guide, it ought to concern Democrats as well.
Over 800 ballots in Paterson were invalidated for appearing in mailboxes improperly bundled together – including a one mailbox where hundreds of ballots were in a single packet. The bundles were turned over to law enforcement to investigate potential criminal activity related to the collection of the ballots.
The board of elections disqualified another 2,300 ballots after concluding that the signatures on them did not match the signatures on voter records.
Reporting by NBC further uncovered citizens of Paterson who are listed as having voted, but who told the news outlet they never received a ballot and did not vote. One woman, Ramona Javier, after being shown the list of people on her block who allegedly voted, told the outlet she knew of eight family members and neighbors who were wrongly listed. “We did not receive vote-by-mail ballots and thus we did not vote,” she said. “This is corruption. This is fraud.”
There were multiple reports that large numbers of mail-in ballots were left on the lobby floors of apartment buildings and not delivered to residents’ individual mailboxes, further casting doubt on the integrity of the election.
Two of the election results in Paterson were particularly close. Initially, challenger Shahin Khalique defeated incumbent Mohammed Akhtaruzzaman by 1,729 votes to 1,721. After a second recount on June 19, that race is now tied 1,730-1,730. In that race, a video posted to Snapchat has surfaced that appears to show a man named Abu Razyen unlawfully handling a large stack of ballots he indicates are votes for Khalique. Khalique’s brother, Shelim, and Razyen have been charged by the state attorney general for crimes including fraud in casting mail-in votes, tampering, and unauthorized possession of ballots.

Many Democrats have made “voter suppression” their rallying cry, accusing Republicans of undermining the right to vote. Lately they point to the Georgia primaries June 9, when voters stood in line for hours, and precincts had to be kept open until after midnight to accommodate those still waiting at the 8 p.m. closing time. Thousands of absentee ballots never arrived in the mailboxes of people who requested them.
Former President Barack Obama invoked voter suppression in a fundraising appeal for a Democratic dark-money group, attacking “bad-faith politicians”—of which party you can guess—who “try to silence your voice.” Former Attorney General Eric Holder echoed him, decrying the “blatant voter disenfranchisement” the GOP unleashed in Georgia. Hillary Clinton said the Georgia debacle “was by design” and “a threat to our democracy.”
Democratic candidates have taken up the cry. Texas state Sen. Royce West, who’s seeking the party’s U.S. Senate nomination, cited Georgia in declaring “the GOP knows their only path to victory involves suppressing the vote.” Vice presidential hopeful Stacey Abrams blamed Georgia’s Republican secretary of state for the “unmitigated disaster” in the primary.
When Kentucky officials announced that Tuesday’s primary would be held with fewer than 200 polling locations rather than the normal 3,700, even King James—basketball legend LeBron—tweeted, “This is SYSTEMATIC RACISM and OPPRESSION. So angry man.” He’d earlier written that Georgia’s primary raised the question “if how we vote is also structurally racist.”
The problem? Votes weren’t suppressed.
The Georgia primary turnout was the largest in state history. While Kentucky’s results won’t be announced before June 30, officials there also expect to beat the state’s record, from 2008. It hardly sounds as if the vote was suppressed. But even if it were, the ex-president and the NBA megastar would be wrong to blame Republicans.
In Georgia, counties run elections. They set polling places, allocate voting machines, mail absentee ballots, recruit and train election workers, supervise Election Day and tally the results. The problems in the Georgia primary were centered in Fulton and DeKalb counties. Fulton contains Atlanta, while DeKalb includes the largely black suburbs directly east.
Democrats control both the Fulton and DeKalb county governments. DeKalb’s board of commissioners consists of six Democrats and one Republican. Fulton’s has four Democrats and three Republicans. DeKalb board chairman Steve Bradshaw and Fulton chairman Robb Pitts are African-American Democrats.
The commissions in turn elect chairmen of boards of registration and elections. Both counties’ election boards consist of two Republicans and three Democrats, including their Democratic chairmen. It was these Democrat-run county governments that ran the elections that Mr. Obama, Mrs. Clinton and other progressives savaged as Republican voter suppression efforts.
In Kentucky, the reduction in the number of precincts and expansion of mail-in voting were both due to coronavirus concerns detailed in an executive order signed by the state’s Democratic governor, Andy Beshear. The elections were also run by counties.
Louisville, Kentucky’s biggest city, has a consolidated city-county government. The mayor is a Democrat, while the county clerk is a Republican. They centralized in-person voting at a 1.2-million-square-foot convention hall with 350 socially distanced voting stations. Yet with massive numbers of mail-in ballots, voter participation surged. Other than a rush before the 6 p.m. close, wait times were low at the convention center. There were more problems in Fayette County, home to Lexington, the state’s second most populous city. The county’s executive, clerk and most of its elections board are Democrats.

Seriously, Mcihale, do you realize that desperation posting of the meme from conservative media that "mobs in the streets are going to swing the elections" over and over is doing nothing more than exposing the rank desperation of the Trump supporters? I mean, the vast majority of Americans now agree with Black Lives Matter and the protesters -- because they aren't just watching Fox News' attempt to portray it all as some sort of breakdown of civil society. That effort has already failed. Deal with it. The public has decided, and not the way you think it has.

I know, right!? Just as you said in your response on yesterday's commentary, this data is measured via exit polling on election day. The 2016 exit polling data show Trump received about 8% of the "Black vote," and I cannot fathom why anyone would conclude, based on Trump's words and actions during his presidency that Trump would actually improve on the outcome from 2016.
If the latest data from June 14, 2020 are any indication, Trump is indeed losing ground:

I hear that New York City is painting a "Black Lives Matter" banner in front of Trump Tower on 5th Avenue. Maybe if Trump says something nice about the new artwork, it'll garner him a few points of support. Oh, wait...
