Friday Talking Points -- Harris Makes Her Closing Argument

[ Posted Friday, November 1st, 2024 – 15:34 UTC ]

The final week of the 2024 presidential campaign was reduced -- quite literally -- to "trash talk." This is perhaps a fitting end for this contest, one might think.

But among all the frenzy surrounding who called whom "garbage" this week, Vice President Kamala Harris delivered her closing pitch to voters from the same spot Donald Trump incited a mob to go attack the United States Capitol four years ago. From the Ellipse, with the White House in the background, Harris spoke of the differences between her and Trump, and made her closing argument for why Americans should vote for her rather than him.

So today we are going to forgo our usual Friday Talking Points format and just present her words in full. If we were doing a full column today, we'd have to create a special "Most Boneheaded Comment Ever" award for President Joe Biden, whose own "garbage" comment allowed Team Trump to pivot from playing defense to go on the offense once again. It was a last-minute reminder why him stepping aside and clearing the path for Kamala Harris was indeed the right thing to do, more than anything else.

In our humble opinion, though, the race is going to be decided depending on the success or failure of Trump's campaign to double down on their strategy of "let Trump be Trump." He has been completely unfiltered throughout the entire campaign, but in the final weeks he has really outdone himself in terms of being offensive, that much is pretty clear. Which could go either way. His hate-mongering language could motivate his own voters to get out and cast their ballots in record numbers, or it could turn off the remaining undecided voters in a big way -- so much so that they break for Harris in a decisive manner. One way or another, "Trump unchained" is going to be the deciding factor, we think.

In contrast to Trump's frothing at the mouth, Kamala Harris has been delivering a message of inclusion and competence and moving forward. She has tried to increase her appeal to as many demographic groups as possible. Democrats are pretty united behind her, so she has been making an appeal to independent and Republican voters to cross over and check the box for her. And she made this appeal in the strongest way possible this week.

So rather than trying to put words in Democrats' mouths this week, we are pre-empting the entire Friday Talking Points column to instead reprint the transcript of Kamala Harris making her final pitch to voters. Below is her closing argument, in full.

-- Chris Weigant

Kamala Harris campaign speech at the Ellipse, October 29th, 2024

Good evening, everyone. Good evening, and thank you for taking the time out of your busy lives. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you, everyone.

So listen, one week from today, you will have the chance to make a decision that directly impacts your life, the life of your family, and the future of this country we love.

And it will probably be the most important vote you ever cast. And this election is more than just a choice between two parties and two different candidates. It is a choice about whether we have a country rooted in freedom for every American or ruled by chaos and division.

Many of you watching have probably already cast your ballots. But I know many others are still considering who to vote for, or whether you'll vote at all. So tonight, I will speak to everyone about the choice and the stakes in this election.

Look, we know who Donald Trump is. He is the person who stood at this very spot nearly four years ago and sent an armed mob to the United States Capitol to overturn the will of the people in a free and fair election – an election that he knew he lost. Americans died as a result of that attack. 140 law enforcement officers were injured because of that attack.

And while Donald Trump sat in the White House watching as the violence unfolded on television, he was told by his staff that the mob wanted to kill his own vice president, and Donald Trump responded with two words: "So what?"

America, that's who Donald Trump is. And that's who is asking you to give him another four years in the Oval Office -- not to focus on your problems, but to focus on his.

And Donald Trump has told us his priorities for a second term. He has an enemies list of people he intends to prosecute. He says that one of his highest priorities is to set free the violent extremists who insulted those law enforcement officers on January sixth.

Donald Trump intends to use the United States military against American citizens who simply disagree with him, people he calls, quote, "the enemy from within."

America, this is not a candidate for president who is thinking about how to make your life better. This is someone who is unstable, obsessed with revenge, consumed with grievance and out for unchecked power.

Donald Trump has spent a decade trying to keep the American people divided and afraid of each other. That is who he is.

But, America, I am here tonight to say that is not who we are. That is not who we are! That is not who we are!

You say what Donald Trump has never understood is that E Pluribus Unum -- "out of many, one" -- isn't just a phrase on a one-dollar bill. It is a living truth about the heart of our nation.

Our democracy, it doesn't require us to agree on everything. In fact, we like good arguments from time to time. Just think of your own family, right? It's not the American way to not have disagreements. We don't shy away from robust debate, robust debate. In fact, we like a good debate, don't we? We like a good debate.

And the fact that someone disagrees with us does not make them the enemy within.

They are family, neighbors, classmates, coworkers. They are fellow Americans. And as Americans, we rise and fall together.

America for too long, we have been consumed with too much division, chaos and mutual distrust, and it can be easy then to forget a simple truth. It doesn't have to be this way. It doesn't have to be this way.

It is time to stop pointing fingers. We have to stop pointing fingers and start locking arms.

It is time to turn the page on the drama and the conflict, the fear and division.

It is time for a new generation of leadership in America, and I am ready to offer that leadership as the next president of the United States of America.

Now, look, let me say, let me say, I recognize this has not been a typical campaign. Even though I've had the honor of serving as your vice president for the last four years, I know, but I know that many of you are still getting to know who I am.

Well, let me tell you, I am someone who has spent most of my career outside of Washington, DC, so I know that not all the good ideas come from here. I am not afraid of tough fights against bad actors and powerful interests.

Because for decades as a prosecutor and a top law enforcement officer of our biggest state, I won fights against big banks that ripped off homeowners, against for-profit colleges that scammed veterans and students, against predators who abused women and children, and cartels that trafficked in guns, drugs and human beings.

And I did this work because for as long as I can remember, I have always had an instinct to protect. There's something about people being treated unfairly or overlooked that, frankly, just gets to me. I don't like it.

It's what my mother instilled in me, a drive to hold accountable those who use their wealth or power to take advantage of other people, the drive to protect hard working Americans who aren't always seen or heard and deserve a voice.

And I will tell you, that is the kind of president I will be.

And look, I'll be honest with you, I'm not perfect. I make mistakes. But here's what I promise you: I will always listen to you, even if you don't vote for me. I will always tell you the truth, even if it is difficult to hear. I will work every day to build consensus and reach compromise to get things done.

And if you give me the chance to fight on your behalf, there is nothing in the world that will stand in my way.

So look, in less than ninety days, either Donald Trump or I will be in the Oval Office.

And on Day One if elected, on Day One, if elected, Donald Trump would walk into that office with an enemies list.

When elected, I will walk in with a to-do list, full of priorities of what I will get done for the American people.

And I will work with everyone, Democrats, Republicans and Independents, to help Americans who are working hard and still struggling to get ahead.

I have been honored to serve as Joe Biden's vice president, but I will bring my own experiences and ideas to the Oval Office. My presidency will be different, because the challenges we face are different.

Our top priority as a nation four years ago was to end the pandemic and rescue the economy.

Now our biggest challenge is to lower costs, costs that were rising even before the pandemic, and that are still too high. I get it.

I still remember our mother sitting at that yellow Formica table late at night, cup of tea in hand, a pile of bills in front of her, trying to make it all work. And I've heard from so many of you who are facing even greater financial pressures.

Donald Trump's answer to you is the same as it was the last time, another trillion dollars in tax cuts for billionaires and big corporations. And this time he will pay for it with a twenty-percent national sales tax on everything you buy that is imported. Think about it: clothes, food, toys, cell phones -- a Trump sales tax that would cost the average family nearly four thousand dollars more a year. And on top of that, you will pay even more if Donald Trump finally gets his way and repeals the Affordable Care Act -- which would throw millions of Americans off their health insurance. And take us back to when insurance companies had the power to deny people with pre-existing conditions.

Well, we are not going back. We are not going back.

Because we also know Donald Trump would deliver tax cuts to his billionaire donors. I will deliver tax cuts to working people and the middle class. I will make sure you have a chance not just to get by, but to get ahead because I believe in honoring the dignity of work.

I will enact the first ever federal ban on price gouging on groceries, cap the price of insulin and limit out-of-pocket prescription costs for all Americans.

I will fight to make sure that hard-working Americans can actually afford a place to live.

I'll never forget how our mother saved up and how excited she was when she could finally afford to buy our first home. I remember how excited she was. And I know that owning a home is not only a measure of financial security, it's about the pride of your hard work. And as president, I will fight to help first-time home buyers with your down payment, take on the companies that are jacking up rents, and build millions of new homes.

For years, we have heard excuses about why America can't build enough housing. Enough with the excuses! I'm going to cut the red tape and work with the private sector and local governments to speed up building and get it done. And the cost of housing isn't the only financial pressure on middle-class families.

I've met so many young people who have a natural desire to parent their children well, but not always the resources to do it.

So, I'll fight for a child tax credit to save them some money, which will also lift American children out of poverty.

I will work to lower the cost of child care, which is out of reach for too many working families today, and for too many people in the sandwich generation who are raising young children and taking care of a parent, juggling all of it is extremely difficult.

You know, I took care of my mother when she got sick, cooking foods, food that she had a taste for, finding clothes that would not irritate her skin. And understand, as I do, that caregiving is about dignity. It is about dignity.

And currently, if you need home care and you don't have some money to hire someone, you and your family need to deplete your savings to qualify for help, that's just not right. So, we're going to change the approach and allow Medicare to cover the cost of home care so seniors can get the help and care they need in their own homes.

Now, Donald Trump has a different approach. He tried to cut Medicare and Social Security every year he was president.

Look, I believe that when people have worked hard their entire life, they deserve to retire with the benefits they have earned. And I believe in the fundamental freedom of Americans to make decisions about their own bodies and not have their government tell them what to do.

I will fight to restore what Donald Trump and his hand-selected Supreme Court justices took away from the women of America -- that today one in three women in America, think about it, one in three women in America lives in a state with a Trump abortion ban -- many with no exceptions, even for rape and incest.

The idea that a woman who survives a crime of a violation to her body should not have the authority to make a decision about what happens to her body next -- that is immoral, that is immoral.

And Trump's not done. He would ban abortion nationwide, restrict access to birth control and put I.V.F. treatments at risk and force states to monitor women's pregnancies. Just Google "Project 2025" and read the plans for yourself.

And look, I think we all know one does not have to abandon their faith or deeply-held beliefs to simply agree the government should not be telling her what to do with her body -- not the government. And when Congress passes a bill to restore reproductive freedom nationwide, as president of the United States, I will proudly sign it into law -- proudly.

And look, on another subject, politicians have got to stop treating immigration as an issue to scare up votes in an election, and instead treat it as the serious challenge that it is, that we must finally come together to solve.

I will work with Democrats and Republicans to sign into law the border-security bill that Donald Trump killed. When I was attorney general of a border state, I saw the chaos and violence caused by transnational criminal organizations that I took on and when I am president, we will quickly remove those who arrive here unlawfully, prosecute the cartels, and give Border Patrol the support they so desperately need.

At the same time, we must acknowledge we are a nation of immigrants, and I will work with Congress to pass immigration reform, including an earned path to citizenship for hard-working immigrants like farm workers and our Dreamers.

As commander-in-chief, I will make sure America has the strongest, most lethal fighting force in the world.

Donald Trump, on the other hand, has shown his contempt for our nation's heroes – calls them suckers and losers, called a four-star Marine general a, quote, "low-life."

I will always honor, never denigrate the service and sacrifice of our troops and their families, and fulfill our sacred obligation to care for them. I will strengthen, not surrender, America's global leadership, and I will stand with our friends because I know that our alliances keep American people safe and make America stronger and more secure.

Look, world leaders think that Donald Trump is an easy mark, easy to manipulate with flattery or favor. And you can believe that autocrats like Putin and Kim Jong are rooting for him in this election.

I will always uphold our security, advance our national interest and ensure that the United States of America remains -- as we must forever be -- a champion of liberty around the world.

America, we know what Donald Trump has in mind, more chaos, more division, and policies that help those at the very top and hurt everyone else.

I offer a different path, and I ask for your vote.

And here is my pledge to you: I pledge to seek common ground and commonsense solutions to make your life better. I am not looking to score political points. I am looking to make progress.

I pledge to listen to experts, to those who will be impacted by the decisions I make, and to people who disagree with me. Unlike Donald Trump, I don't believe people who disagree with me are the enemy. He wants to put them in jail -- I'll give them a seat at the table.

I pledge to you to approach my work with the joy and optimism that comes from making a difference in people's lives.

And I pledge to be a president for all Americans, and to always put country above party and self.

I love our country with all my heart, and I believe in its promise because I've lived it.

I grew up as a child of the Civil Rights movement, my parents would take me to marches in a stroller where crowds of people of all races, faiths, and walks of life came together to fight for the ideals of freedom and opportunity.

I've lived the promise of America, I saw how hard our mother worked to give her daughters the same chances this country gave her.

Growing up, I was blessed to have family by blood and family by love, who instilled in me the values of community, compassion and faith that have always defined our nation at its best. I've lived the promise of America.

I've spent my life fighting for the people who have been hurt and counted out but never stopped believing that in our country, anything is possible.

I've lived the promise of America, and I see the promise of America in all of you -- in all of you, I see it.

I see it in the young people who are voting for the first time, who are determined to live free from gun violence and to protect our planet and to shape the world they inherit.

I see it in the women who refuse to accept a future without reproductive freedom, and the men who support them.

I see it in Republicans who have never voted for a Democrat before, but have put the Constitution of the United States over party.

I've seen it in Americans, different in many respects, but united in our pursuit of freedom, our belief in fairness and decency and our faith in a better future.

America, I know the vast majority of us have so much more in common than what separates us. I know it, and that's why I am in this race to fight for the people, just like I always have.

Nearly 250 years ago, America was born when we wrested freedom from a petty tyrant. Across the generations, Americans have preserved that freedom, expanded it, and in so doing proved to the world that a government of, by, and for the people is strong and can endure. And those who came before us, the patriots at Normandy and Selma, Seneca Falls, and Stonewall, on farmlands, and factory floors -- they did not struggle, sacrifice and lay down their lives only to see us cede our fundamental freedoms.

They didn't do that only to see us submit to the will of another petty tyrant.

These United States of America, we are not a vessel for the schemes of wannabe dictators. The United States of America is the greatest idea humanity ever devised, a nation big enough to encompass all our dreams, strong enough to withstand any fracture or fissure between us, and fearless enough to imagine a future of possibilities.

So America, let us reach for that future. Let us fight for this beautiful country we love.

And in seven days, we have the power, each of you has the power to turn the page and start writing the next chapter in the most extraordinary story ever told.

I thank you all. God bless you and may God bless the United States of America. Thank you!

Looks like Georgia is a lock for President Trump. :D

Georgia's nearly 4 million early votes bode well for Trump.

"I think the enthusiasm, the momentum, is with President Trump.
We've got a lot of voters that voted in 2016 but didn't vote in 2020. What makes me believe that they are Trump voters is that most of them are from parts of the state that are pretty strong Republican strongholds.

You start breaking down where they live, where they were historically as far as the Republican cards they pulled in the past, and, like I said, the on-the-ground enthusiasm for Trump right now is pretty off the charts."
    -Lt Gov Burt Jones

And both parties’ emphasis on early voting has had a seismic effect. During the early voting period between Oct. 15 and Nov. 1, nearly 4 million Georgians cast in-person or absentee ballots, more than half the state’s active voters.

Over 700,000 people who voted already in 2024 did not vote at all in 2020, according to Georgia Votes.

Meanwhile, the top three counties for voter turnout rates are rural areas won by Trump in 2020.

‘Like Deplorables x 10!’ Bill Maher Warns Biden ‘Garbage’ Comment Way Bigger Gaffe Than Dems Think.

    ‘Fucking Muffed a Fly Ball’

Bill Maher warned Democrats President Joe Biden’s controversial “garbage” remark may be more consequential than they are anticipating in the election.

On Friday’s Real Time, Maher argued Biden’s comment could be worse than Hillary Clinton referring to Trump’s loyal supporters as a “basket of deplorables” just before the 2016 presidential election.

“I think it’s a bigger gaffe than people think. It’s so funny, Joe Biden, his whole career he was like Mr. Gaffe, and then here at the very end, he’s like Aaron Judge in Game Six. He just fucking miffed a fly ball and at the end of the thing and blew the whole [thing],” Maher said.

Biden made his “garbage” comment when condemning a comedian’s joke at a Madison Square Garden event for former President Donald Trump. At the rally, comedian Tony Hinchcliffe jokingly referred to Puerto Rico as a “floating island of garbage.” Biden was later accused of calling all Trump supporters at the event “garbage,” something he has denied. The White House updated a transcript of Biden’s talk, changing Trump “supporters” to “supporter’s,” indicating it was Hinchcliffe he was referring to.

“I feel like it epitomizes everything that the Trump people hate about the Democrats. They look down at us. It’s like deplorables times 10,” Maher said.

    DEMOCRAT NIGHTMARE

Breaking News: Nation on Edge Amidst Contested Election Results

    Date: January 20, 2025
    Location: Washington, D.C.

In a dramatic turn of events following a highly contested presidential election, tensions across the nation have reached unprecedented levels. Kamala Harris, the progressive candidate, has contested the election results after President Donald Trump was declared the winner by major news networks. Allegations of voting irregularities, widespread reports of polling site disruptions, and a lack of transparency have left millions of Americans on edge.

    Election Day Chaos

On November 5, reports flooded in from multiple states regarding significant disruptions at polling locations. Voters faced long lines, malfunctioning machines, and allegations of intimidation. Eyewitness accounts described chaotic scenes as supporters of both candidates clashed outside polling stations.

In the weeks following the election, as Harris's legal team launched challenges to the results, state officials declared that they would not certify the election outcome, citing concerns about the legitimacy of the voting process. Various courts dismissed these challenges, stating that there was insufficient evidence to support claims of widespread fraud.

    Protests Erupt Nationwide

As the inauguration day approaches, protests have erupted across major cities. Tens of thousands of demonstrators, both in support of Harris and those backing President Trump, have taken to the streets. The protests have escalated into confrontations, with reports of violence and clashes between opposing groups.

Authorities in several cities have declared states of emergency. National Guard units have been deployed to assist local law enforcement in maintaining order. The Pentagon has placed additional military forces on standby, citing the potential for further unrest.

    Military Readiness and Inauguration Security

As the country braces for President Trump's inauguration, security measures have been ramped up dramatically. The U.S. Capitol has been fortified, with military personnel stationed at strategic locations around the city. The Secret Service has implemented a multi-layered security plan, including drone surveillance and checkpoints.

Reports indicate that military vehicles are stationed near the Capitol, with soldiers prepared to respond to any disruptions during the inauguration ceremony. The situation has drawn comparisons to previous civil unrest in U.S. history, with experts warning of the potential for violence.

President Biden's Futile Attempt to Award the Election to Harris
In a dramatic turn after the recent election, President Biden publicly declares his support for Kamala Harris, claiming her as the true winner despite mounting evidence to the contrary. Biden’s attempt to reverse the election outcome and install Harris as president hinged on his influence and strategic alliances within Washington. However, Biden’s obvious infirmities and his senility and dementia are plainly, and painfully obvious, and his efforts proved futile as the courts and American citizens resoundingly backed President Trump affirming the legitimacy of his victory.
Biden’s approach was muted and and listless and the flaws of his senile reasoning was plain for all to see. Biden appealed to loyalists within the government, hoping to cast doubt on the election’s legitimacy but soon discovered that, because Biden had totally bungled the entire campaign from the start, Biden HAD no loyalists.. Biden attempted to align his message with Harris and her campaign, framing President Trump’s win as a byproduct of election irregularities. Yet, Biden’s claims were unsupported by credible evidence, and his challenge was quickly dismissed by federal courts across multiple states, which found no significant irregularities affecting the outcome. Judicial reaffirmation of President Trump’s victory further undermined Biden’s narrative, leaving him with dwindling options.
In the face of his waning influence, Biden faced a formidable obstacle: the unwavering support President Trump received from the military. The armed forces, committed to upholding constitutional order, pledged their loyalty to the President Trump, counteracting any potential moves to challenge the transition of power. Key military leaders reinforced their constitutional duty, emphasizing that the peaceful transfer of power was paramount to national stability and democracy.
Public opinion, too, decisively favored President Trump, seeing Biden’s actions as a desperate power play. Americans across the political spectrum condemned his attempts to circumvent the democratic process, rallying around the clear choice of the electorate. In the end, Biden’s actions served only to deepen public resolve for President Trump’s administration, marking Biden’s final days in office with controversy and ultimately solidifying President Trump’s legitimate ascent to the presidency.
In a statement following the election and Biden’s fall from grace, President Trump declared, “We have emerged victorious, and it’s time for the nation to move forward.” His remarks were met with cheers from his supporters, who have organized celebrations in various cities.

    The Day of Inauguration Approaches

As inauguration day approaches, the nation holds its breath. Tensions continue to simmer, with supporters of Harris vowing to contest President Trump’s ascension to power through violent protests and by any means necessary. Many Americans are left wondering what the future holds for a country so deeply divided.

Political analysts express concern over the implications of the current crisis. “This is a pivotal moment for American democracy,” said Dr. Lena Hall, a political science professor. “How the government and citizens respond in the coming days will shape the future of our nation.”

    A Nation Divided

As reports of confrontations continue to rise, there are fears that the division within the country could lead to more severe consequences. Groups on both sides have begun to organize more formally, with Kamala Harris supporters issuing calls for armed demonstrations and targeted assassinations of key President Trump personnel and supporters. Social media has amplified these calls, leading to widespread anxiety about potential violence on inauguration day.

Meanwhile, the military remains on high alert. The Defense Department has stated that it will not tolerate violence and is prepared to take necessary action to maintain order. In a rare move, the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff addressed the nation, emphasizing the military’s role in upholding the Constitution.

“The armed forces are sworn to defend the Constitution, and we will do so with the utmost integrity and professionalism,” he stated. “Our priority is to ensure the safety of all citizens, regardless of their political beliefs.”

    The Countdown to Inauguration

As the countdown to inauguration day continues, the nation remains on high alert. Supporters of both candidates prepare for what many believe could be a historic day of protests, celebrations, and potential chaos. The question on everyone’s mind is whether the democratic process will prevail or if the country will plunge into further unrest.

As night falls across the nation, the sound of sirens echoes in the distance, a haunting reminder of the fragile state of democracy. The stage is set, and the world watches closely as the United States stands on the precipice of an uncertain future.

President Trump’s commitment to energy reform transformed both domestic and international markets. Today, millions of earth vehicles powered by subspace energy roam the roads worldwide, providing unprecedented access to energy while eliminating the need for fossil fuels. This shift has driven down energy costs, making transportation and manufacturing more affordable, which has, in turn, sparked a boom in industries from agriculture to high-tech manufacturing.

In the U.S., job creation in the renewable energy sector reached record highs, while unemployment fell to its lowest levels in decades. Economists credit President Trump’s policies for enhancing energy affordability and encouraging the construction of subspace-powered manufacturing facilities, which have significantly cut operational costs and carbon emissions. With the world’s dependence on oil at historic lows, nations that once depended on oil exports have diversified their economies, leading to global financial stability.

Humanity’s Giant Leap: The First Mission to Mars

Technological advancements under President Trump’s administration were not limited to Earth alone. Perhaps the most iconic of President Trump’s achievements came with humanity’s first successful mission to Mars, a dream long pursued by scientists and space enthusiasts alike. Dubbed Unity, the historic mission carried a team of international astronauts to the red planet, marking the first steps in humankind’s exploration beyond Earth.

President Trump recognized early in his presidency the value of a collaborative space program. Under his leadership, NASA and space agencies from around the world joined forces to share resources, knowledge, and technologies. The mission was powered in part by the revolutionary subspace energy technology, which reduced travel time and allowed the Unity crew to establish a sustainable base on Mars. Images of the astronauts planting flags from multiple nations have become symbols of international cooperation.

The successful Mars landing has also paved the way for private space exploration companies to expand their ventures beyond Earth’s orbit. Investors are eager to support new ventures, from asteroid mining to deep-space tourism, which promise to unlock untold resources and economic growth. Schools across the globe have introduced Mars exploration modules in their curricula, and children everywhere now dream of joining humanity’s journey to the stars.

Middle Eastern Peace: The President Trump Accord and a New Dawn

Perhaps the most remarkable achievement of President Trump’s administration was his success in bringing a lasting peace to the Middle East. For decades, the region had been plagued by conflict, with deep-rooted animosities between Israel and Palestinian groups exacerbated by the presence of violent factions like Hamas and Hezbollah. But through determined diplomacy, President Trump achieved what many believed was impossible: the Trump Accords.

President Trump’s approach to Middle Eastern peace combined diplomatic pressure, humanitarian aid, and intelligence-led operations to eliminate terrorist networks threatening regional stability. Working closely with regional leaders, President Trump’s administration provided resources for rebuilding infrastructure and fostering economic development, leading to long-term stability. Critical to this process was a unique intelligence-sharing program, which dismantled key terrorist networks and strengthened local governance, ensuring extremist groups would struggle to re-establish a foothold.

With terrorism in decline and both sides eager to rebuild, President Trump brokered what has since been hailed as a “model peace” for other regions of conflict. The Trump Accords established a two-state solution between Israel and Palestine, recognizing the sovereignty and security of both nations. The agreement has since enabled joint economic projects, cultural exchanges, and education initiatives, fostering mutual respect and understanding.

This lasting peace has had widespread benefits. Foreign investment is flowing into the region, boosting the economies of Israel, Palestine, and neighboring countries. Infrastructure projects, funded by international investors and local governments, are creating jobs, improving living standards, and promoting regional stability. With the success of the President Trump Accord, President Trump’s administration has left an enduring legacy of hope and cooperation in a region once marked by division.

A United Future: The Legacy of President President Trump

One year later, President Trump’s legacy continues to inspire world leaders and citizens alike. In the U.S., his successor has pledged to continue his commitment to clean energy, technological progress, and international cooperation. Across the globe, President Trump’s policies have left a blueprint for addressing climate change, fostering economic growth, and building peaceful, inclusive societies.

Environmental analysts note that global carbon emissions are at their lowest levels in over a century, thanks to the widespread adoption of subspace-powered vehicles and President Trump’s robust support for green technologies. His policies have not only reduced environmental impact but also created an economy where clean energy is a central component of growth. As the world moves further from its reliance on fossil fuels, many are optimistic that President Trump’s vision for a sustainable future will become a reality.

Educational reforms initiated under President Trump’s administration have also shown early signs of success. Schools are now emphasizing science, technology, engineering, and mathematics (STEM) fields, with a particular focus on space exploration and clean energy. Inspired by the Mars mission and the tangible benefits of subspace energy, students are pursuing careers in fields once seen as distant or unattainable. This shift promises to keep innovation alive for generations, as the brightest minds continue to push humanity’s boundaries.

Though no longer in office, President Trump remains an influential figure, advocating for continued cooperation and progress in his post-presidential career. In speeches and public appearances, he encourages citizens and leaders worldwide to uphold the values of peace, sustainability, and unity that defined his administration. His message resonates with a new generation that sees President Trump not just as a former leader but as a visionary who dared to dream of a better world—and made it a reality.

Conclusion: The Dawn of a New World

The first year after President Trump’s administration has shown the world what is possible when leaders prioritize peace, innovation, and cooperation. His achievements are a testament to the power of vision and determination. President Trump’s policies have sparked economic growth, driven technological progress, and brought peace to a region long defined by conflict.

As the world moves forward, the spirit of President Trump’s legacy endures. The subspace-powered vehicles, the Mars mission, and the peace accord are reminders that, with courage and conviction, humanity can reach unprecedented heights. The story of President Trump serves as both a celebration of his accomplishments and a challenge to future leaders: to continue striving for a world united by hope, progress, and peace.

How can ANYONE think that Kamala Harris can win??

As I have stated many times, Trump has an uppermost ceiling of around/between 46% to 47%, and that has been the case for a long time and has not changed one scintilla. This is a FACT you should let permeate your obviously gullible and aging two brains cells. When you see those "47" signs they're holding up at those ever-shrinking Trump rallies, you should think to yourself:

That's exactly approximately what Trump's uppermost ceiling is. With a ceiling like that, who needs a dang floor? Thank God for the Electoral College!

As the world watches the U.S. election unfold, many, especially people in Latin America, believe that Trump is the only option to prevent the decline of American economic power and influence.

Joseph Humire, an expert on Latin America and executive director of the think tank Center for a Secure Society, told Fox News Digital that many Latin Americans hope for a Trump victory on Nov. 5.

Humire said the Biden administration's policy toward Latin America has resulted in it being "the worst that I’ve seen."

"The last four years the region has gone into a very difficult direction," he said. "Food inflation is really high. Organized crime and violence are really high. And, you know, little by little, they're losing their democratic practices. There's a huge democratic backsliding happening in the region."

According to Humire, Latin Americans believe that if elected Vice President Kamala Harris would continue the policies of the Biden administration and thus continue the economic decline and stagnation in the region.

On the other hand, Humire said the Latin American populace associates Trump’s presidency with a time when they experienced greater prosperity and that they see him as a sign of hope for better times when the U.S. had greater investment in the region and the economy was not so bleak. These people believe that Trump’s plan to lessen U.S. dependency on China would mean greater U.S. investment in Latin America.

So, our Latin America neighbors realize that America is done with if Harris wins...

They say only President Trump has the power and the will to be America back on the right track..

A mass voter fraud scheme allegedly involving fraudulent registration forms across multiple Pennsylvania counties was thwarted in the lead-up to Election Day. Local officials are pointing to a Democrat-aligned firm from Arizona run by a Kamala Harris supporter as the culprit orchestrating it.

Following a routine review of voter registration applications and mail-in ballot requests, the Monroe County Board of Elections identified approximately 30 "irregular" forms, the county's district attorney, Mike Mancuso, a Democrat, announced on Facebook last week.

The matter was then referred to Mancuso's office for further investigation.

Several of these suspicious forms were found to be fraudulent "as they were not authorized by the persons named as applicants," Mancuso wrote in Tuesday's post. On at least one form, the named applicant was, in fact, deceased.

Of the fraudulent voter registration forms, some were traced back to a specific person.

A company called "Field + Media Corps," a subsidiary of the "minority-owned" Fieldcorps and an Arizona-based organization operating out of Lancaster County, was responsible for submitting the forms in question to county officials, Mancuso revealed.

That you think anything you wrote should be viewed as a nightmare by Democrats is what makes no sense. What you wrote was great!

CONFESSION: I only read the bold parts. Was it seriously "great"? I laughed audibly when I saw this:

One Year After President President Trump: A New Era of Progress and Peace

    Global Times - October 10, 2031

I laughed so hard my husband ran into the room and asked me if I was okay, and I had to explain I was laughing not crying... okay, laughing so hard I cried. He begged for an explanation, whereupon I reluctantly showed him that excerpt and explained how I could not stop myself from picturing "President President Trump" as the Little Caesars orange cartoon "Pizza Pizza" guy but instead of sporting a toga, he's obviously wearing a diaper... and since when was "October 10, 2031" one year after a presidential term that would obviously end in January 2029?

Your version is the very best of the best… and the least likely outcome to result from Trump winning the election possible!

You make a very compelling case to read between the bold headlines. *deciding* NOPE. Can't do it. That vision of "President President Trump" would do me in.

Trump is felon to the 34th degree…and that’s just the level he is at today!

Felon Felon Trump... felon felon :)

Since we only have cho’mo around for a very short time I wonder where he falls on the TDS scale. Are there, like, millions of Americans this delusional about Trump or is cho’mo more of an outlier? In other words, is this a useful specimen that provides any useful data or not?

A HUUUGGE win along the lines of 489 EV For President Trump and a mere 42 EV for Harris..

That is not mathematically possible, science denier.

    Application forms aren't ballots.

Anyone spreading misinformation about Pennsylvania application forms being fraudulent ballots is highly likely to be named "Donald Trump."

Has he seen his internal polling and cannot stop himself from whining? Is he setting up the gullible for the Big Lie 2.0?

Yes, I denied that Harris could win the election..

Because I know and understand the facts.. It is simply not within the realm of possibility that Harris could win.. This is fact..

    Bullshit.

If I drop a hammer on a high gravity planet, I don't need to see it has fallen to know for a fact that it has fallen..

False equivalency... no matter the planet.

I complete understand why you refuse to accept these facts. Your ingrained ideology refuses to ALLOW you to accept these facts..

Nope. It's more boring than that: I can perform math and do not deny science.

MANY people here in Weigantia have denied that a presidential candidate (President Trump) could win the election..

False equivalency. A prediction that Harris will win does not equal a denial that Trump could not. You're the only one on the forum who has made the claim that a presidential candidate could not win.

    Moving the goalposts. Typical.

Let's just go with President Trump will win the popular vote..

    Right-wingnut fantasy.

Do you deny this is a possibility??

Do you read your own posts?

The righties are being groomed to accept the Big Lie 2.0 in the same manner they bought into the long con we refer to as the "Big Lie" 2020 edition, and a whole bunch of them did stupid things that caused irreparable harm to a lot of people also known as "Plaintiffs"... as in Plaintiffs versus Donald Trump.

I still have Donald up at the moment, but your completely unrealistic cheerleading is giving me hope that perhaps i'm wrong.
