Have A Happy New Year!

[ Posted Tuesday, December 31st, 2024 – 17:12 UTC ]

This is not really a column, more of a cheerful year-end program note instead, just to let everyone know.

I had every intent of sitting down today to write my annual humor installment reviewing the "banished words" for next year, but the kindly folks at the Lake Superior State University have let me down and it seems they won't be publishing the list today, but are instead waiting until the new year actually dawns to do so (they are inconsistent -- sometimes the list appears before the ball-drop, and sometimes afterwards). So you'll have to wait until at least tomorrow for that (or possibly Thursday, no promises...), due to circumstances beyond my control (sorry).

But I also wanted to provide an update of sorts from here at ChrisWeigant.com headquarters. Firstly, you will note that the pledge drive's progress thermometer has leapt upwards and we're now within sight of our goal for the year. This is good news indeed, as we had been a wee bit worried we weren't going to make it. My sincere thanks to all who have donated, especially the generous donors of the last few days (you know who you are!). Even if we don't completely reach our goal, we now have enough to promise that next year will once again be proudly ad-free and that we'll be able to cover the costs of the site upgrade.

And secondly, the site upgrade is still on track, and I will update everyone when we get a more concrete schedule for when it will actually happen. I have to contact the web developer and set up a timetable, and once that is done I'll let everyone know. Oh, that reminds me -- I had another idea that I'm not sure will be feasible or not, but wanted to float it by everyone to see what they think. Assuming a plug-in exists that does this sort of thing (a big assumption, like I said, it might prove to be impossible), what would everyone say to having the ability to block other commenters? This way you could read the comments without being distracted by people who you'd rather not hear from. Anyway, it's just an idea and may not even be feasible, but I thought I'd run it by everyone to hear your thoughts.

In any case, as always we are going to head into 2025 cheerfully optimistic and ring in the new year with gusto later tonight. We wish everyone out there a happy new year too, and we'll try to hit the ground running next year (after the hangover dissipates)!

Would this not be the most coveted plug-in of all?

    Rhetorical question.

I forget who it was but a poster here long ago built a Michale blocker. The framework it was built on was a memory/resource hog and I eventually had to remove it but I think it offered the best compromise. It did not completely block a user but any post from that user was minimized. You just had to click on it to expand and read. If you wanted to engage it was easy but when the comments were first loaded and there were a ton of posts in a row from that user, it was easy to ignore and see if there was anything interesting posted by everyone else.

More a convenience utility than an absolute blocker.

Those who are demanding a block feature are the same people who are druggies.. They can't handle reality, so they use drugs and block people who put forth said reality...

This being the case, I guess it's not surprising that so many Weigantians are demanding drugs.... er.. a block option.. :eyeroll:

It won't change anything on here.. Because even if some people block me, the Weigantian Trolls will continue to quote me and respond to me and then the druggies who use the block option will block THEM and then Weigantia will become nothing but an echo chamber where people only read what confirms their own bigotry and biases and will never have to face up to the facts and the reality of the here and now..

In other words, it will make a mockery of the phrase "reality based forum"

Which, I guess, is muey apropos as Weigantia hasn't been reality-based since Jun of 2015... :eyeroll:

Victoria Troll comes back from her shame induced hiatus and virtually EVERY comment she made has been about me.. :D

And with that nugget, the board's Michael/Michale troll has proven beyond doubt that his raison d'être is his life spent trolling online and that ever-present neediness of his/hers to be noticed by somebody/anybody combined with that modus operandi of his/hers to just make shit up about anybody/everybody (especially himself/herself) in repeated attempts to prove somehow/some way that he/she has lived a life more important than others. *laughs*

Contrary to the invented bullshit of the board's ever-needy resident troll, my holidays were a lot more boring. In point of actual fact and reality, my older brother died suddenly, and I've inherited his estate (not in Texas) and all the travel and work that comes with that... including probate.

Anyway, Weigantians will be proud to know that the first thing I did upon arrival to his/my property was to walk out the front door quite a considerable distance to the very tall flagpole in front and remove the very large Trump flag and replace it with an American flag. You really can love your country without being a MAGAt, Muskrat, or Trump cock holster.

But poor Michael/Michale, Russ and I cannot factually make the claim that we didn't already know that those ginormous chunks of time of his/hers spent away from this board were very long periods of shame. In fact, I would wager we all here already knew that.

Russ Troll's comments from the last couple months have been EXCLUSIVELY about me!! :D

That is totally incorrect, but your ever-present neediness for attention is again duly noted.

They drag up internet stuff about me from OVER A QUARTER CENTURY ago and actually believe it has RELEVANCE in the here and now!! :D

First off, your abilities at math are only equaled by your inability at reading comprehension, I must inform you that 21 years is obviously not "OVER A QUARTER CENTURY ago."

Secondly, that's a very interesting use of the word "drag" there, missy, but not altogether surprising coming from a Michael who (quote): "is spelling his first name differently now to signify that he definitely likes his..." well, y'all can read.

Interesting how he/she is still spelling his/her name "differently" in the RELEVANCE of facts and reality.

These trolls are HYSTERICAL with their hate and bigotry and it's obvious to all that I am totally rent free in their heads.. :D

Hate requires passion, and Russ and I have none for you, but you always and still have our utmost pity. No one lives rent-free in either Russ or my head, and we feel quite certain it will not go unnoticed when the rent becomes due and payable.

Russ and I are not trolls, but we also are not altogether unsympathetic when we encounter a true troll in obvious constant total desperate need of attention and just making shit up about anyone/everyone (including himself/herself) in order to fill that ever-present neediness for attention that exudes from his/her every word (those words he/she isn't plagiarizing, of course).

So Michael/Michale: Russ and I recognize the continuance of your life-long modus operandi of the trolling others and just making shit up about them in your constant need of attention, and Russ and I will sometimes fill that neediness of yours to be noticed, but only when we're choosing not to totally ignore you and scroll directly through your trollshit mountain of misinformation and right-wing echo chamber invented propaganda and outright lies wherein you've obviously and demonstrably mainlined the Orange Kool-Aid. In the interest of full disclosure: Russ and I are not liars so the attention you crave will come in the form of facts.

I feel sorry for those Weigantians Trump/America haters who are looking forward to the BLOCK feature..

Translation: Michael/Michale Troll is obsessed with his/her being totally ignored by others. He/has not failed to notice that the most popular feature being requested by those who actually want to discuss political commentary in the comments section of Chris's blog (versus wading through the Michale trollshit mountain of entirely plagiarized articles and bullshit) is the BLOCK feature.

What with the trolls making virtually ALL of their comments exclusively about yours truly, EVERY ONE is going to be able to partake... :D

Don't bet on it. That most-requested and coveted block feature has the potential to be the end of your prolific plagiarism along with your obvious neediness for praise and attention and your total pathetic existence.

Look at all that!!??? I mean, I KNOW I live in your head, but I never believed you actually gave me THAT MUCH SPACE!!

Yer so emotional! So hysterical!!! It's HILARIOUS!!!

    BBBBWWWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

What's so hilarious is that you keep dragging up crap that ostensibly is from my life from over a quarter century ago!!!! And what makes it even MORE hilarious is that NO ONE, outside of you (Victoria Troll), Bashit Troll and Russ Troll, even CARES!!!!

And what's even MORE hilarious is that it's ALL complete and utter bullshit!!!

    BBBBWWAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA

Yer a sad case Victoria Troll... Things were so much better here when you were gone on your shame hiatus..

Why don't you do us ALL a favor and just stay away from Weigantia..

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S TOP 10 MOVES OF THE ELECTION SEASON

    NUMBER 10
Trump's initial significant action was to forgo the Republican primary debates that began in August 2023, effectively relegating his challengers to a state of frantic insignificance, seeking a leader. In Trump’s absence, public interest quickly waned for candidates like Tim Scott, Chris Christie, Mike Pence (remember him?), and Asa Hutchinson. Even Ron DeSantis, Nikki Haley, and Vivek Ramaswamy struggled to rise above single digits and were soon defeated. The Fox News debate in August attracted the most attention, drawing in 13 million viewers, but each following debate saw a decline in numbers, culminating in the CNN debate prior to the Iowa caucuses that could barely attract 2.5 million disinterested viewers.

    NUMBER 09
After solidifying his grip on the Republican Party's core supporters through a strong performance in the primaries, President Trump aimed to alter the party's leadership as well. On February 12, President Trump expressed his wish for North Carolina GOP chairman Michael Whatley to replace GOP chair Ronna McDaniel, with Trump’s daughter-in-law, Lara Trump, poised to take on the role of co-chair. McDaniel had maintained a somewhat distant relationship with Trump's MAGA movement and was criticized by many within the party for not doing enough to secure Trump's victory in 2020, both prior to and following the November 3 election, especially regarding her tepid backing of the president's assertions that the election was fraudulent.

    NUMBER 08
Since his indictment in the so-called hush-money case in March 2023, President Trump recognized that his support grew each time his adversaries attempted to imprison him. Instead of stepping back from his campaign to focus on his legal challenges, he embraced each new indictment as a symbol of pride. He vocally opposed the judges and district attorneys targeting him through his Truth Social platform, labeling them as irrational, corrupt, or merely anti-Trump. Meanwhile, his legal team fought in various courtrooms not only to establish his innocence but also to highlight his status as a victim. When they presented their case to the Supreme Court, arguing that the president deserved immunity for actions taken during his presidency, mainstream media depicted Trump as frantic. This perception changed dramatically when the Supreme Court ruled in his favor on July 1, effectively ensuring that many of the charges against him would be thrown out.

The media mocked Trump for campaigning in the deeply liberal New York City. Yet again, they made fools of themselves. With Trump frequently in New York due to the civil fraud trial led by Letitia James, the E. Jean Carroll defamation case, and the so-called hush-money trial, he had little choice in the matter. It was hardly surprising that the likely GOP nominee chose to campaign in his own city. In April, he made a stop at the Manhattan bodega where a clerk fatally stabbed an attempted robber, who then faced murder charges from the very district attorney prosecuting the former president for highly publicized felony counts stemming from his description of payments to his attorney as “legal expenses.” Trump also visited a building site and a local fire station. However, one of his most impactful decisions of 2024 was to organize a rally in the South Bronx while awaiting the verdict in the hush-money case. The Democrats’ attempts to label Trump a racist fell flat as a diverse audience of Black and Hispanic supporters, along with white attendees, gathered to commend his vision for a more robust America.

Capitalizing on President Biden's poorly conceived plan to host a presidential debate in late June, prior to either candidate's official nomination from their party, Trump once again embarrassingly (for them) outmaneuvered the pundits. At that moment, President Trump was leading in the polls, and there was a widespread belief that he had the most to lose in the debate. This notion quickly became laughable when Basement Biden's performance revealed significant cognitive issues and a troubling lack of focus. In hindsight and trying to save even a SMALL measure of face, some analysts argue that President Trump may have erred by participating in a debate so prematurely, as it compelled the Democrats to seek an alternative to Biden. However, two simple words dispel that theory: Kamala Harris.

Harris's failure to present a clear vision for the coming four years, along with her reluctance to distance herself from either Basement Biden's unsuccessful presidency or the radical left agenda of the Democratic Party, made her an easy target for President Trump.

To ensure he could draw in disenchanted Democrats to his campaign, President Trump did something that would have seemed impossible eight or even four years prior: he actively engaged with Democrats to find shared interests. Most notably, he recognized that Robert F. Kennedy Jr. had been unfairly treated and sidelined by Basement Biden's campaign, first as a Democratic candidate and later as an independent. President Trump understood that the Kennedy name, along with its associated agenda, could expand his coalition and make him nearly invincible. When RFK Jr. announced the suspension of his campaign and endorsed Trump on August 23, the excitement was tangible. It was also beneficial that mainstream media had a deep disdain for Bobby Kennedy, similar to their animosity towards Trump. This dynamic, combined with endorsements from former Democratic presidential candidate Tulsi Gabbard and tech magnate Elon Musk, made it clear that President Trump was determined to forge a coalition capable of winning the election and assisting him in governance.

In the realm of campaign appearances, none showcased President Trump's relatable side and charm quite like his visit to a McDonald’s in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, just two weeks before the election in this crucial swing state. While poking fun at Harris's questionable assertion that she had worked at the fast-food chain during her college years, President Trump demonstrated that he was a billionaire who connected with ordinary people. Wearing an apron, he learned the correct method for preparing McDonald's French fries and happily served orders at the drive-thru, delighting customers. The image of the former president waving to supporters outside the restaurant became one of the defining moments of 2024.

You know it’s been a simply AMAZING year when surviving not just one but two assassination attempts doesn’t even make it as the TOP 2 MOMENTS! The second attempt was a keystone cops escapade that simply illustrated the stoopidity and moronic-ness of Trump/America haters.

However, we can discuss the shooting incident involving Thomas Matthew Crooks in Butler, Pennsylvania, since Crooks was shot well and truly dead, as Hemingway might have phrased it.

When reflecting on President Trump's most notable moments that day, it’s hard to overlook his dramatic turn to the right to observe an immigration chart displayed on a large screen. That fortunate movement caused him to be shot in the ear instead of taking off the back of President Trump's head, allowing him to evade what could have been a terminal injury. While that was a stroke of luck, his subsequent actions were quintessentially Trump. After Secret Service agents lifted him to his feet, the bloodied President Trump raised his fist three times, urging the stunned audience to “Fight! Fight! Fight!” This moment became the stuff of legends. The most iconic moment in American History right up there with raising the flag at Iwo Jima...

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S TOP 10 MOVES OF THE ELECTION SEASON

    NUMBER 02
One of the boldest political maneuvers of the 2024 campaign was President Trump's choice to delegate much of the Republican get-out-the-vote initiative to two independent super PACs—Turning Point Action and America PAC. Historically, the Republican Party had trailed the Democrats in engaging voters and mobilizing them for elections, and establishment politicians believed that simply increasing spending was the solution. In a surprising twist, President Trump opted to reduce expenses by enlisting the help of external organizations that would invest their own funds and utilize their own volunteers to connect with passionate voters. Charlie Kirk’s Turning Point Action and Elon Musk’s America PAC concentrated their efforts on voter outreach in the seven key swing states. The fact that President Trump secured victories in all seven illustrates the effectiveness of this innovative approach.

What evens make this moment so fraking awesome is that the ability to do this was created BY DEMOCRATS!!! :D Ya'all just HAVE to love the irony of that, eh!!?? :D

    And here we are....

PRESIDENT TRUMP'S **NUMBER ONE** MOVE OF THE ELECTION SEASON

The Trump Dance! As the rhythmic embodiment of President Trump's carefree spirit, the Trump Dance made its debut at an unspecified time but gained significant notoriety during the campaign town hall on October 14. This event became memorable when President Trump paused answering questions after two audience members experienced medical emergencies. While it’s not uncommon for him to interrupt his rallies in response to someone in distress, in this instance, after a few minutes, the crowd spontaneously began singing "God Bless America."

This prompted President Trump to request "Ave Maria" be played over the loudspeakers, leading him to spontaneously initiate a mini concert. For approximately 40 minutes, the soon-to-be leader of the free world engaged the ecstatic audience from the stage, showcasing his distinctive dance moves, which primarily involved flailing his arms with clenched fists, swaying from side to side, and humorously mouthing the lyrics to "Y.M.C.A."

While actual dancing was minimal, it sparked thousands of TikTok videos and drew heavy criticism from mainstream media. MSNBC noted, “Concerns arise regarding Trump’s mental sharpness after the event devolves into a dance party.” Rolling Stone described the occasion as “a strange instant-classic disaster.” Clearly, the insights of the traditional media were lacking, as they never grasped President Trump’s appeal. The real train wreck of 2024 was how the press covered Trump. When multiple NFL stars performed the Trump Dance to celebrate touchdowns one weekend, it became clear that President Trump had triumphed not only in the election but also in the cultural battle that had been waged against him since 2015.

And THERE you have it, Trump/America haters and PTDS sufferers....

President Trump's TOP TEN MOMENTS.. :D

as to blog growth, I suggest CW could practice what he preaches to other democrats, and SELL to all the email addresses on his list of posters, even those who have since wandered elsewhere. all would benefit from being regularly exposed to his commentary and insights, whether they know it yet or not.

That has indeed been done and done very effectively in my experience. Of course, it could make the blog itself obsolete as a platform Chris's writings and would certainly eliminate the need or desire for a comments section. The only problem could be being hard to get yourself added to the email list once the blog is no longer available to new commenters. But, CW could easily remedy that.

That actually may be the answer here. And, if individuals wish to reply to Chris's emailed columns they may do so and Chris can choose to respond back or not.

You know, the more I think about it, the better this idea sounds like the perfect answer to what ails this place.

I forget who it was but a poster here long ago built a Michale blocker.

It was Charles Brown, Esq.: "chaszzzbrown"

The framework it was built on was a memory/resource hog and I eventually had to remove it but I think it offered the best compromise. It did not completely block a user but any post from that user was minimized.

It blocked only one poster specifically, and you chose how much to block them, wherein he set the script up for the user to choose what he referred to as "All Troll" "Some Troll" or "No Troll."

The most awesome part of the script (my opinion) was the paragraph view he added wherein the "Preview Comment" feature would do its magic and help the commenter see where they might need to close an attribute versus inadvertently posting their entire comment in bold or italics, etc.

The troll didn't like being blocked and ignored out of existence so he changed his name, necessitating the author "chaszzzbrown" to update the script again to block the new name:

    https://www.chrisweigant.com/2016/11/16/california-rebuilding-democratic-bench/#comment-88590

If you recall, it was a very popular feature for which multiple users made donations to Chris in honor of "chas" and his script.

If you wanted to engage it was easy but when the comments were first loaded and there were a ton of posts in a row from that user, it was easy to ignore and see if there was anything interesting posted by everyone else.

He explained that he set it up to make it easier to see comments from people he wanted versus the troll spam.

That script actually stopped working for me with some update or another, but now I'm on Firefox (thanks to you that time recently when you saved Christmas), and I decided to load Tampermonkey into Firefox and see if it worked.

So I followed that link in my comment to you at [40] and copied that entire script of Charles Brown, Esquire, and added it into my newly loaded Tampermonkey as a new script, and dang if it isn't working again!

I have the blocking script back. It's like Christmas all over again. :)

Chaszzzbrown who wrote the blocking script said he wrote it to make it easier to engage with those he wanted to. You can hide the troll completely or not at all.

I got the script working again by loading Tampermonkey into Firefox and copying the script at that link and adding it as a new script in my newly loaded Tampermonkey extension.

Might want to try it, John. It's working again!

I wouldn't mind all the posts in this thread with Michale's top ten copy and pastes to be collapsed.

Now that I reinstalled Tampermonkey on Firefox and copied and added that script of Charles Brown, Esquire at the link I provided you in [40], I have no idea what you're talking about. Just as a reminder, that script of his gives you three choices at the top of the Comments section that look like this:

    WEEDY COMMENTS: 21 (48%).
    DISPLAY AS: EXPANDED COLLAPSED HIDDEN

[actually all on one long line at top of comments in color brown]

You choose the amount of troll you want to block. My choice for this evening is "HIDDEN" so I see none of it. "COLLAPSED" works the way you described wherein you see the troll has commented although not the actual comment. Choose "EXPANDED" and nothing changes except Charles Brown's most excellent script turns the "Preview Comment" button to look like what you're posting, complete with paragraphs, spacing, blockquotes, etc. and makes it easier to see that you might have accidentally failed to close a tag.

I said 21 years is not over a quarter century. Your advertisement attempting to whore out your wife and kids says directly on its face "21 years ago." Did you not know that? Did you also not know that to be "over a quarter century" something must be over 25 years old? This ain't rocket science, you know. Did you also maybe not realize that your fake quote I never said and your victim pity party is going a very long way to making you look ignorant and fraudulent regarding your repeated claims of having been a "police officer" for over two decades?

*laughs* Are you nuts? What kind of self-proclaimed Jack Reacher super cop would make this kind of asinine claim and thus prove his own ignorance? I can't stop laughing.

Are you just determined to prove beyond any doubt whatsoever that you aren't the "police officer" you've claimed repeatedly to be? If you ever were what you've claimed, you wouldn't be making the asinine accusations that it's some kind of full-time job to locate information about somebody when it's a simple search that takes the a scintilla of training, a couple resources, and just minutes of anyone's time. Like I said: "'Twas but a single link."

It took me two minutes to find that link one day when another commenter posted a link back to your past and made a very good point about you being an idiot for keeping the receipts. That link of his led to another link and another link and in two whole minutes, it led to that one. Sucks to be you! Long before that, Bashi had already described those links wherein anyone could locate them, and then the other commenter supplied a link to them. Anybody with two brain cells could follow that link and find other links, and it's not exactly the scenario you've invented in your abject ignorance wherein you're throwing yourself a pity party.

Shouldn't have to be explaining easily searchable public records to a so-called "police officer," but *laughs* here we are and not for the first time.

So, to reiterate: As Bashi and I both have explained to you on different occasions when you've played this same bullshit victim routine, it's an easy search and all right there for anyone with the resources and intelligence to easily find a plethora of information on anyone. Not rocket science just easily searchable public records.

But if you're too stupid to connect the dots and are quite content to prove you have zero knowledge of what you claim, who am I to stop you from proving you are an obvious total fraud? Please continue to prattle on endlessly providing the ample proof of your fraud. It too is now archived public record, and it's hysterical to watch you faceplant and kick your own ass repeatedly.

"The border was thrown open while disingenuously claiming it was just fine. In came millions of unscreened migrants including murderers and gang members.

Democrats passed huge spending bills using COVID-19 as cover to dump trillions of dollars into climate change policies designed to wipe out fossil fuel use, even as alternatives are not really ready.

The Justice Department under Merrick Garland became an enforcer of left-wing policies, arresting political opponents, handcuffing the police, even going after parents complaining to school boards as though they were terrorists.

While government spending and deficits ballooned, companies were falsely blamed for inflation that served as the ultimate regressive tax on all Americans.

The cultural wars left Americans dumbfounded as criminals were elevated to victims, gender ideology and enforced pronouns ruled policy, religion was shown the back seat and identity became more important that individual character in rewarding success.

Young people were fed a steady diet of all this through TikTok and academics justified it even as it defied common sense.

Even foreign policy was turned on its head as friendly allies were summarily abandoned in the disastrous Afghanistan withdrawal that was a turning point in the Biden presidency. Iran received billions that they used to extend terrorism, and Israel was continually restrained and chastised while no red lines were drawn for hostages to be released or face the consequences. And hundreds of billions were spent on the Ukraine war without any serious diplomatic activity or even capability.

And free speech was equated with violence; tech companies were used to implement speech codes that deflected criticism of the administration’s policies. This degrading of the First Amendment, America’s core value, is yet another example of how the party has strayed from its most basic foundational American values.

All the while, the president pretended the Hunter Biden laptop was fake while in reality it exposed a scheme to bilk $20 million dollars out of various foreign interests with the now obvious help of President Joe Biden, whose denials were as phony as the idea he was ready to run for a second term.

As a parting gift in absurdity the president, after pardoning his son for crimes including tax evasion, Biden commuted the sentences of 37 murders who committed the most heinous of crimes.

Yes, the Democratic Party needs a reset. It’s time to hit the button on that."

And, from Victor Davis Hanson a stirring assessment of how our National Nightmare is ending.. :D

    The National Nightmare Is Ending

    Après Biden, “L'audace, l'audace, encore l'audace, toujours l'audace”!

To paraphrase mixed French 18th-century memorable quotations: after Biden, follows not the deluge, but now daring, and still more daring, and always more daring.

    Why?

A combination of two self-evident truths.

Joe Biden’s inept administration proved an ungodly disaster, not just for America but for the West as well, who looked abroad for a stronger America but found it weaker.

And second, Trump Invictus is now liberated—“In the fell clutch of circumstance/I have not winced nor cried aloud,/Under the bludgeonings of chance/My head is bloody, but unbowed.”

He is without worry over another election, or a discredited and defanged media (“so doves do peck the falcon's piercing talons”), much less a third Nancy-Pelosi contrived impeachment.

Instead, he stalks indomitable, after failed de-balloting capers, failed lawfare vendettas, and failed two assassination attempts. To quote Shakespeare of his recent visit to Notre Dame and the once hostile Euro crowd who now mobbed him, “He doth bestride the narrow world /Like a Colossus, and we petty men /Walk under his huge legs and peep about /To find ourselves dishonorable graves”.

In sum, our weakest president is to be followed by our most audacious.

Biden’s bumbling arrogance nearly destroyed the American military in Kabul. It ruined Western deterrence. It showered the creepy Taliban with a multibillion-dollar new windfall arsenal.

His lies, his incompetence, and, yes, his narcissism demoralized Americans and our allies, but at least ensured he would never reach 50 percent approval again.

What immediately followed from the Kabul nightmare was as bad or indeed worse: two theater-wide wars in Ukraine and the Middle East, appeasement of Iran, hammering of Israel, a nonexistent US border, 12 million illegal aliens, the hyperinflation of staples, the weaponization of the executive branch, Third-World lawfare, looting and shoplifting legitimized, spiking crime contextualized, and printing trillions of debased dollars normalized.

Biden sought to turn the once preeminent US military into a cruel cultural woke joke.

The trainwreck of the last four years was force-multiplied by Biden’s own feebleness, masked by the most scandalous media-politico conspiracy of suppresson of it in US history.

But now there is a giddy sense that restoration and normalization are not just possible but on the horizon.

The truth now is set free, and it smothers the old lying denials about the origins of COVID, about the truth of diversity/equity/inclusion, about the naked greed of the Biden family syndicate, about the dementia of Joe, about the chauvinism of three sexes, and about the joy and momentum of the fracking, gun-toting, MacDonald’s veteran and border hawk Kamala Harris.

No one fears or listens to the now defenestrated frauds and tiring dissimulators: the Bidens, a Fauci, Mayorkas, Garland, Milley, Austin, Jean-Pierre, Comey, Brennan, Clapper, or McCabe—and their old lies that Hunter is brilliant, Biden is fit as a field, no gain-in-function viruses, a bat caused COVID, the border is secure, Chinese army generals are more trustworthy than Trump, the laptop was Russian, Trump is a Putin puppet, and always their nauseating “I can’t recall”, “ I don’t remember”, “I have no recollection”, and “I am not at liberty to say”.

Our allies are feeling more confident, our enemies scared.

The idea of an impending deterrent and reliable Trump administration has terrified Iran and helped collapse Syria. Israelis buoyant. Not so Hezbollah, Hamas, and the Houthis.

In anticipation, the dollar reigns, the stock market stays strong.

Even Trump’s traditional enemies, whether on Wall Street, Silicon Valley, or in corporate board rooms are whispering that they secretly are delighted with their old nemesis’s dream of more and cheaper energy, less government regulation and taxation, and confidence again that everything is now possible when a government says an exhilarant yes to dreams rather than a crabby no to them.

Suddenly the woke bullies are on the run. The porous border really can be closed; illegal alien gangs and criminals will be sent packing.

The Left now invokes no Logan Act. They are instead relieved that the President-elect is now the virtual President—and their guy is gone.

Biden yelps now that his sins were not doubling down on them and sinning even more when he had the chance.

In other words, the recently impossible is not just possible again, but likely!

Each of us, at least for this brief window of opportunity, again feels, “I am the master of my fate, I am the captain of my soul.”

Trump set the media into a fit of rage-filled dishonesty after he said on Halloween that war hawk Liz Cheney should get a taste of her own medicine.

“I think it hurts Kamala a lot actually, [Cheney’s] a deranged person, but the reason she couldn’t stand me is that she always wanted to go to war with people. I don’t want to go to war,” Trump said of Kamala Harris’s choice to campaign with Cheney. “She wanted to go — she wanted to stay in Syria. I took them out. She wanted to stay in Iraq. I took them out. I mean, if it were up to her, we’d be in 50 different countries. She’s a radical war hawk.”

Countless pundits and outlets portrayed Trump’s common-sense remark as a call for Cheney to face a firing squad.

Another Media Propaganda Hoax that ya'all swallowed.. :D

Number 2 - The Unsurprising October Surprise
The Atlantic and its editor in chief, Jeffrey Goldberg, published what they thought would be a devastating ‘October Surprise’ against Trump, rife with salacious details and comparison of the now-president-elect to Adolf Hitler. Among other things, the report alleged that Trump disparaged a military veteran and her family members while refusing to pay for her funeral even though he promised to do so. The catch? The veteran’s sister and various Trump officials who were firsthand witnesses came forward immediately following the story’s publication to dispute it as false.

And here is ANOTHER propaganda hoax that ya'all bought into... It's ESPECIALLY hilarious because NOW that President ELECT Trump will return to the Oval Office, ya'all accept that a Hitler incarnate is YOUR President!! :D

And the NUMBER ONE Media Propaganda Hoax that ya'all swallowed!!?? (Ya'all swallow a lot, eh?? :D )

    Hidin’ Biden
The worst hoax of 2024 dwarfs the others mentioned above, due to its scope and the harm it dealt to the country: the bald-faced lie that President Joe Biden was mentally and physically sharp enough to serve as commander in chief. The White House pumped out propaganda that Biden was fit as a fiddle, and the media — knowingly — parroted the lies because it was an election year and they did not want Trump to win.

This is the propaganda hoax to end all propaganda hoaxes.. Ya'all went on and on about how sharp Basement Biden was and how perfectly fit he was and how his mental acuity was perfect..

Ya'all bought into this complete and utter BS despite ALL of the plethora of facts that PROVED how completely and utterly full of kaa kaa ya'all were..

The fact that ya'all believe you have even a SMIDGEN of credibility is hilarious!!! :D

You mean local law enforcement. That section of the french quarter has bollards that extend when needed to prevent this exact thing. They were down for maintenance and nothing was placed as a temporary blocker. Other communities that do the same thing will park dump trucks, cement barriers or something similar in the way when their bollards are down.

the FACTS clearly point to a coordinated terrorist attack.

Correlation is not causation. There are similarities, with both being veterans, having served at the same base, used the same car rental app et. But there are 18 million veterans in the US, Turo is the largest carsharing company at 360,000 listings and Fort Liberty is the largest army base in the nation. There are also differences in crime. The NO terrorist meant to kill as many as possible. The LV guy blew him self up the second he arrived and injured one person. The NO killer had recently been divorced, had a failed business and had recently converted to radical Islam. Sounds like a loser that wanted to take people out in his suicide attempt and the Islam was just an excuse. The NV guy seems to have wanted to send a message...

Why Democrats are bad for America

The 2024 election has prominently highlighted the ideological chasm within American politics, with many critics zeroing in on what they perceive as the anti-American attitudes of woke Democrats. This faction, often characterized by its progressive policies and social justice and violence advocacy, raises significant concerns regarding its implications for fundamental American principles, unity, and civil discourse. Additionally, the patterns of violence and intimidation that have arisen from factions of the left add to an atmosphere of unrest, particularly in relation to the polarizing figure of President ELECT Donald Trump.

The woke ideology promotes division rather than unity, fostering an environment where identity politics supersedes the concept of shared American values. In the lead-up to the 2024 election, this was evident in the rhetoric surrounding issues such as race and gender. For example, some Democratic candidates openly advocated for reparations for descendants of enslaved people, framing the issue as a measure of justice. While proponents argue that reparations are necessary to rectify historical injustices, the fact is that this approach fosters resentment and division among different racial groups, directly contradicting the American ideal of unity regardless of background. Instead of finding common ground, such initiatives may deepen societal fractures.

Furthermore, the concept of political correctness used by woke Democrats has led to the suppression of free speech and suppression of open discourse. There have been increasing instances of individuals facing backlash—both socially and professionally—for expressing views contrary to those held by Democrats. This trend culminated in a notable instance during the 2024 election cycle when an academic known for his conservative views was publicly denounced and threatened after voicing his opinions on campus free speech. This censorship fosters a climate of intimidation, where fear of public shaming or even violence can silence dissent. Such actions undermine the very tenets of democracy and disrupt the foundational belief in robust and diverse discourse.

Another critical aspect of the 2024 election was the radical climate policies advocated by many Democrats, often promoted as essential for the planet's survival. The Green New Deal emerged as a centerpiece of the Democrats’ agenda, pushing for sweeping changes to the economy with ambitious targets to reduce carbon emissions. While the need to combat climate change is widely recognized and advocated by woke Democrats, the fact is that these policies are economically impractical and disproportionately impact working-class Americans. The emphasis on such radical solutions may alienate significant voter demographics, particularly those in economically vulnerable positions reliant on traditional industries. In other words, Democrats are screwing over the very people that they CLAIM they want to help.

Moreover, the violent outbursts and threats directed at Trump supporters and the President ELECT himself expose a troubling undercurrent of aggression among Democrats. Incidents of violence, including assaults on individuals wearing MAGA attire and threats made towards conservative figures, illustrate a volatile atmosphere. For instance, during a campaign rally in 2024, several Trump supporters were assaulted, with some incidents resulting in serious injuries. Such hostility underscores a growing acceptance of violence as a means of protest among certain extremist groups, fueled by the rhetoric from woke Democrats that often dehumanizes opponents and frames political discourse as a battle against immorality.

The heightened polarization surrounding figures like Trump exacerbates this issue. While the vast majority of Americans view Trump as a legitimate political figure and a great American President, America hating Democrats portray him as an existential threat to democracy. This narrative cultivates an environment where cross-partisan communication diminishes, and violence becomes the preferred avenue for pursuing political goals. In the quest to fight against what they consider the deeper evils represented by figures like Trump, some Democrats have contributed to a culture where intimidation and aggression are more likely.

The 2024 election serves as a potent reminder of the dangers posed by the polarized landscape fueled by woke ideology. The promotion of divisive identity politics, the suppression of free speech, and the radical economic policies advocated by many Democrats exemplify a trend that threatens the unity and stability of American society. Additionally, the instances of violence and threats against Trump supporters reflect a broader acceptance of intimidation tactics that undermine democratic principles and civil discourse. As the country moves forward, it is crucial to foster a political climate that values dialogue over division and seeks to uphold the foundational ideals of unity, respect, and free expression that have long characterized American democracy.

Defending President Trump’s handling of the COVID-19 pandemic requires examining the context, decisions made, and results achieved during a time of unprecedented crisis. You Democrats refuse to examine these facts and the context in which the facts exist. While Trump’s approach was often met with criticism and headwinds from Trump/America hating Democrats, several key actions and circumstances demonstrate a most favorable assessment of his administration's response.

Firstly, the Trump administration initiated a rapid and unprecedented response to the emerging threat of COVID-19. Recognizing the gravity of the situation, Trump acted to restrict travel from China in late January 2020, ahead of many other countries. This decision, made before the World Health Organization declared a pandemic, was crucial in buying time for the U.S. healthcare system to prepare for the inevitable spread of the virus. Critics argue that this move was xenophobic, but many experts later acknowledged it helped limit early transmission rates.

Furthermore, Operation Warp Speed, launched in May 2020, exemplifies a proactive and strategic approach to vaccine development. This public-private partnership mobilized resources to accelerate the production and distribution of vaccines. By the end of 2020, multiple vaccines were developed, tested, and authorized for emergency use within a record time frame—an achievement that was unthinkable in previous public health crises.

Additionally, Trump's administration facilitated extensive testing efforts, significantly increasing the availability of testing kits nationwide. This increased testing capacity was critical in understanding and combating the virus's spread. While the rollout faced challenges, it laid the groundwork for more comprehensive public health measures.

While President Trump's handling of the COVID-19 pandemic was not perfect, key decisions, such as early travel restrictions and the establishment of Operation Warp Speed, reflect a decisive and proactive response during a turbulent time. These actions provided essential tools for eventually controlling the virus and saving MILLIONS of lives.

These FACTS are what you Trump/America hating Democrats ignore...

The National Institutes of Health (NIH) found itself at the forefront of the COVID-19 pandemic response, tasked with guiding public health policy and coordinating research efforts. However, as the crisis unfolded, the NIH faced significant criticism for various missteps, particularly from its director at the time, Francis Collins. Among these shortcomings were delays in testing, inconsistent messaging, and a particularly contentious stance toward the lab leak theory regarding the virus’s origins.

One of the most notable failings identified by Collins was the slow rollout of widespread testing. When COVID-19 first emerged, the ability to rapidly test and identify cases was critical for controlling the spread of the virus. However, the United States struggled with testing capacity, leaving public health officials flying blind in terms of understanding the virus's trajectory. Collins publicly acknowledged that the delayed response to scale up testing hampered early containment efforts. As he reflected on the response, he recognized that the lack of a robust testing strategy led to explosive outbreaks that may have been mitigated with timely interventions.

Moreover, Collins admitted that the NIH's communication regarding COVID-19 guidelines was inconsistent and sometimes confusing. There was considerable fluctuation in recommendations related to masks and social distancing, often based on evolving scientific knowledge. For instance, in the early days of the pandemic, the NIH and Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) initially downplayed the need for masks, a stance that was soon reversed as evidence of asymptomatic transmission emerged. Collins acknowledged that these changes contributed to public skepticism and undermined trust in health authorities. The mixed messages exacerbated confusion among citizens trying to navigate uncharted territory and made it challenging to foster a united public health response.

One particularly controversial aspect of the NIH's handling of the pandemic was its approach to the lab leak theory, which suggests that SARS-CoV-2 may have accidentally escaped from a laboratory in Wuhan, China. For much of the initial response, leading institutions, including the NIH, were dismissive of this hypothesis, favoring the narrative that the virus originated from a natural zoonotic spillover. Collins himself was part of discussions that aligned with the prevailing scientific consensus rejecting the lab leak theory early on, which inadvertently contributed to a lack of comprehensive investigation into the origins of the virus.

As the pandemic unfolded, the lab leak theory gained traction among some scientists and public figures who urged for a more transparent investigation into the virus's origins. Critics argued that dismissing the lab leak hypothesis without thorough investigation was a significant oversight, particularly given the scientific community's history of discovering new pathogens in laboratory settings. Such oversight likely caused the deaths of thousands that would not have died had the lab leak theory been more widely accepted. In May 2021, after significant pressure and emerging evidence, Collins admitted in interviews that it was necessary to keep an “open mind” about the origins of COVID-19, a striking contrast to earlier dismissals. He indicated that there was a need for more investigation into both the natural origins and the lab-related possibilities, underscoring the NIH's initial reluctance to consider alternative theories.

Furthermore, the NIH's engagement in research funding through grants and collaborations raised ethical concerns about transparency and accountability. The agency's involvement in funding research at the Wuhan Institute of Virology through the EcoHealth Alliance came under fire, particularly as accusations were leveled regarding the organization’s work on bat coronaviruses. Collins insisted that NIH funding was for research aimed at understanding viruses, but critics questioned whether adequate oversight was in place. This aspect of the NIH's response generated considerable public distrust, especially in light of the NIH's refusal to even CONSIDER the lab leak theory.

While the NIH played a pivotal role in the U.S. response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Director Francis Collins' admissions of missteps reveal significant shortcomings. From delays in testing to inconsistent public messaging and a reluctance to explore the lab leak theory thoroughly, these errors not only hindered effective crisis management but also eroded public trust in health authorities. The pandemic underscores the critical need for flexibility, transparency, and adaptability in public health responses, ensuring that institutions like the NIH learn from these mistakes to be better prepared for future global health challenges.
