I finally saw part of this debate, and Kucinich did get a good line off. They were asking the candidates about prayer, and if they thought praying for God to avoid tragedies like Katrina was worth it (or something, it's very hard for me to listen to Stephanopoulus because of my visceral dislike of the man).
In any case, other candidates gave serious, thoughtful answers. Kucinich went for a laugh, and knocked it out of the park:
"Well, George, I've been praying to God for 45 minutes that you'll actually call on me."
Best highlight of the debate, at least for me.

Crickets.
They tried to ignore Kucinich at debate time, and all the news coverage that followed never mentioned him ... or Gravel for that matter.
Poor Dennis, relegated to the cartoon section. His wife got more news coverage.
