Words Fail Me

This is too funny for words. I'm having trouble typing this because I'm laughing too hard.
The Republicans today unveiled their logo for their 2008 convention, to be held in Minneapolis/St.Paul, Minnesota. Here is what they chose:
I thought at first it was a hoax, but then I checked the GOP's national website, and there it was! This is not a hoax, this really is the logo they chose.
As I said, words just fail me. So I leave it up to you to comment on what exactly that elephant is doing.

I could understand a red elephant and blue 2008 for GOP logo. I think someone got things backwards!
I wonder how much they paid for this - too much I'm sure!

This blue elephant appears to be pleasuring himself with anticipation of a happy ending. Me thinks this is his best chance in 2008
If you were one of the present day Repugs you'd be blue too. :)
OK, maybe I am not as Machiavellian as ya'all or maybe ya'all are admiring the emperor's new wardrobe, but I just don't see it

The only thing I see was what Stanley pointed out, that they got the colors transposed.....

OK, so it DOES have to do with the color scheme..
In essence BLUE is stomping out RED...

A flag with blue stripes on the back of the GOP who's ready to stomp out 2008.
It seems to me that the elephant is about to have intercourse with the 2008 election. Someone is going to get screwed!

I've heard the only time a bull elephant’s front feet leave the ground is during sex.
At least the elephant isn’t on his knees.
The stripes remind me of the old time chain gang uniforms. Is the elephant using his tail to pleasure himself?
Anyone want to give odds that they're going to change this logo before next year?
